Experience a Working Textile Workshop

The Tango Textile Workshop Tour allows you to visit real silk weaving sites that were previously inaccessible to the public. These are not mock factories for sightseeing—they are active workshops that have long produced fine silk textiles. This exclusive tour is made possible because it takes place in Yosano, the birthplace of the renowned Tango Chirimen. You will feel the authentic atmosphere of the place where textiles are born.

Your Own Original Piece

The Hataya Concierge will guide kimono enthusiasts through this tour. By observing real production scenes and hearing explanations from artisans, you can directly experience the traditions and techniques of the craft. If you find a workshop that speaks to you, you may be able to purchase items at local prices or even order a one-of-a-kind piece just for you. We invite you to visit Yosano Town, the heart of Tango Chirimen, and enjoy this hands-on experience.
